Yesterday, when our living room looked like a tornado had made it's way through, with all the spoils of Christmas EVERYWHERE, and a giant, over-sized Christmas tree taking up one entire end of the room, I had that moment of looking at my tree and thinking, "Ahhh, make it go away!"  Yes, that was clutter panic talking.  Fortunately I got over it, only after doing some major cleaning, mind you.

Our annual tradition of taking the tree down happens on New Years Day every year.  Call it a purging if you will and a reclaiming of our living room space.  Of course the kids always protest.  If they had their way, the tree would be up year round.  For me it signifies, a giant sigh of relief that things can now calm down a little and we can put everything back where it was.
