On Saturday, May 21, Hartwick College will celebrate the Class of 2016 during its 85th Commencement exercises. Faculty, staff, family, and friends will gather at 11:30 a.m. on Elmore Field to recognize graduates’ accomplishments throughout their time spent at the College. This year’s 343 degree candidates will undertake the transition from Hartwick students to Hartwick alumni. Hartwick College’s 2016 Commencement speaker will be Ambassador of the United States of America George Bruno. A tireless champion for civil rights and democracy across the globe, he served as President Bill Clinton’s Ambassador to Belize from 1994 to 1997. Today, he manages LawServe, a global immigration law firm in Manchester, NH, and is a principal in USA Group International, providing consulting services to individuals, governments, and private business.
