Gas prices have crested $3 in Oneonta!

Gas prices have been low for so long that I stopped paying attention to prices at the pump until I saw what it was up to yesterday at one gas station here in Oneonta - $2.99!  It's over $3 at other locations.  Is it me or did that number just creep up slowly without anyone noticing?

It reminds me that we've all been spoiled for a while now with gas prices under $3.  Remember when it was over $4?  It really wasn't all that long ago and the sting of paying over $4 at the pump still smarts.  Let's hope we don't end up back at those prices!

One great internet site to locate where you can get the best price on gas is GasBuddy.com.  All you have to do is enter your zip code and then it tells you prices at gas stations in that zip code.
