Fabulous Friday Part Of Big Oneonta Weekend

 

Fabulous Friday returns Friday, September 4th to kick off a big Labor Day Weekend in Oneonta.  This free event sponsored by Destination Oneonta features:

• Oneonta History Center – Antique Appraisal Night 5pm to 8pm, $5 per item
• CANO - Opening Reception – "Small Works: Art & Fine Crafts".  This special exhibition that will feature a variety of work created by local artists and craft artisans – paintings, drawings, prints, dolls, jewelry, knitting / yarn art, bags, etc. All work will be priced under $250. This event will include artists from the City of the Hills Arts Festival.
• Salsa dancing in Muller Plaza: free lessons will be offered from 5pm to 6pm.
• DJ John Thompson spinning tunes and taking requests in the Plaza 6pm to 7:30pm
• Northern Eagle Beverages will provide sampling of Roscoe Brewery beverages from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
• The Green Toad Bookstore will be highlighting one of their international book sellers that evening
• MAS (More Art Space) – will have music with Collision Ensemble from 7pm to 8pm
• Roots Brewery will have an Indian cuisine dinner special and $1 off beer special
• Susquehanna Balloon Festival in nearby Neahwa Park
• Plus, Downtown Oneonta merchants will supply discounts and specials
