Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office announced that 26 state-approved Child Advocacy Centers are sharing in over $4 million in grants to enhance services provided to children who are victims of crime.

Crime Victims Assistance Centers in Chenango County and Broome County will receive a total of just over $118,000. The money is to be used for offsetting the cost of purchasing and installing video recording equipment, as well as hiring specially trained staff to interview young victims of sexual and physical abuse.
