Commerce Chenango has announced its 2014 award recipients.

The Distinguished Business of the Year award goes to UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital for showing consistent and continued growth. The hospital is considered a leader in the health care industry and contributes to the community and its economy.

The Commitment to Community award goes to Ann Coe for her significant commitment to the community, her leadership, and her individual contributions as a graphic artist. Ann is currently the Executive Director of the Norwich Business Improvement District.

The Young Professional award goes to Elizabeth Monaco, Executive Director of Chenango United Way. Since her tenure began in 1999, the United Way has raised more than $7.2 million in campaign funds and $1 million in endowment funds. Monaco is responsible for transitioning the organization to a community impact model business operation where outcome measurements and donor accountability are a main focus.

The awards will presented at Commerce Chenango's 55th Annual Dinner April 30th at the Silo Restaurant in Greene.
