A Sherburne man was arrested Tuesday, after the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office found him making Methamphetamine.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 35 year old Robert Collins was arrested after he was found behind North Main street in the village of Sherburne along the Chenango River cooking meth, Colllins was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Along with materials and laboratory equipment used in the “one pot” method Collins was charged with unlawful manufacturing of Methamphetamine 3 rd degree, a class D felony; The unlawful disposal of laboratory equipment used to make meth, a class E felony; criminal possession of precursors of Methamphetamine, a class E felony; and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7 th degree a class A misdemeanor. Collins was arraigned in Village of Sherburne court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on 5 thousand dollars cash bail.
