Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie Counties is helping families in need with a Summer Food Service Program, funded in part by the United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties with support from the First United Presbyterian Church of Oneonta.  This program, which mostly targets children in the greater Oneonta area, who typically receive free or reduced lunches at school and are now home for the summer, takes place in Neahwa Park in Oneonta.  Lunches are served to children and family members at the large pavillion, Monday through Friday (through August) from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  There are no income requirements or questions asked of those who come to partake of the lunches.
