Truth Pharm, a national advocacy non-profit organization, will assist the Oxford Police Department in starting their Road to Recovery program. And one of the first steps is for the department to get volunteers to come in and sit with people taking part in the program. To be a volunteer you have to attend a training session and one will be held Saturday, February 27th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Oxford Academy High School Cafeteria at 50 South Washington Ave. The Road to Recovery Program plans to be up and running in the middle of next month. Once up and running it will allow for any Oxford resident to seek addiction help without fearing arrest.
