The Black Keys Guest Star in Comedy Central Sitcom ‘Workaholics’

In addition to their current blockbuster tour, the Black Keys are popping up all over the place. First their special appearance on Anthony Bordain’s ‘No Reservations,’ and now they’ll be making their acting debut on Comedy Central’s ‘Workaholics.’

According to Entertainment Weekly, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney (aka The Black Keys) will appear on an upcoming episode of Workaholics where they’ll play “two dirtbags.”

The episode is based around the main characters of the show suing their co-worker and landing in small claims court. That’s where they cross paths with Auerbach and Carney, waiting on a court case of their own, and “sporting oddly long ponytails.”

Apparently, the Black Keys are big fans of ‘Workaholics’ and have become friends with one of the stars – Adam Devine. No exact date on when the Black Keys episode of ‘Workaholics’ will air, but the third season will debut on May 29.

The Black Keys recently added October shows to their current tour run. See the additional dates below:

10/5 – Staples Center -  Los Angeles, Calif.
10/8 – Honda Center  – Anaheim, Calif.
10/9 – US Airways Arena  - Phoenix, Ariz.
