Bassett To Honor Organ Donor Kayla Urrey

Bassett Medical Center will join together with the Center for Donation and Transplant Monday at 11 a.m. in raising the Donate Life Flag to honor Kayla Urrey, a young woman who gave the gift of life through organ, tissue and whole body donation. Her selfless decision to register as a donor on the New York State Donate Life Organ and Tissue Registry, and her family’s decision to go along with her wishes, allowed her to save four lives through organ donation and countless more through tissue and whole body donation. The flag will be raised outside of the Bassett Health Clinic across from the Cooperstown based hospital.
