Bassett Research Institute in Cooperstown announced it’s created the first rural pediatric registry to study health outcomes among transgender and gender nonconforming youth. According to a news release the registry created by pediatrician Dr. Anne Gadomski currently has 113 participants and the information received will help inform evidence-based care going forward. The pediatric registry includes diagnoses, treatment, lab results and outcomes. Gadomski was recently recognized by the New York State  Department of Health for her work in support of gender wellness.
