Say cheese.

While announcing the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ on Wednesday, a company rep dropped a stat that will either make you shudder in disgust or shrug like it ain't no big thang.

Justin Denison, Samsung's senior vice president of product strategy and marketing, unveiled the phone while also declaring that people will snap an average of 25,000 selfies over the course of their lives. That echoes an earlier study that concluded Millennials will also take slightly more than 25,000 selfies during their lifetimes.

That's a lot of photos of you trying to capture the look of someone having the absolute time of your life so you can make your Facebook friends jealous.

This got us thinking. Twenty-five thousand selfies are a lot, but that number is no doubt subject to change because we all live a different amount of time before the Grim Reaper comes calling. So, how many selfies do you take in the course of a day? How long can you go without taking one? And, most importantly, are there any places you think it's totally inappropriate to snap one? We know it's not smart to take them near a train because there's the distinct possibility that they just may kill you.
