Arrest Made in Delaware County BOCES Bomb Threat

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported bomb threat Thursday at DCMO BOCES Harold Campus in the Town of Masonville. At approximately 11:00 a.m. a written threat to the building was located inside one of the bathrooms. School administration activated emergency procedures and all students were evacuated from the school. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police Explosives Detection K9 unit searched the school and were unable to locate any presence of an explosive device. As a result of an investigation a 16 year old from New Berlin was arrested for 1st degree Filing a False Report, a Felony in violation of the New York State Penal Law. Andrew Slentz was arraigned in the Town of Masonville Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500.00 cash bail.
