Say goodbye to a business that’s been a part of downtown Oneonta since the 1972. Joe Ruffino Jr., the owner of Ruffino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, published a letter on the restaurant’s website joeruffinos.com Thursday, saying the “daily grind” has become more challenging, and he has no one ready to take over – so he’s closed up for good. Ruffino’s has been open for 45 years and its founder Joe Sr. died last November.
