21st Pit Run Takes Off Oct 5 [Audio]

The Pit Run, one of Central New York's premiere racing events, is set for Sunday, October 5th in Oneonta. This event celebrates the life of fallen State Trooper Ricky "Pit" Parisian with all proceeds going to the Ricky J. Parisian Scholarship Foundation, which benefits improving education for local children.

There are 3 events you can participate in: the challenging 10k race, the 5k race, or the 2 mile stroll. After the race, in Neahwa Park, all are invited to enjoy Brooks BBQ, kids activities, games, and live music.
